Nanyang Siang Pau, one of Malaysia's biggest Chinese daily newspapers, invited Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai to give a talk on the forthcoming change from Period 7 to Period 8.
The venue was Nanyang Siang Pau's hall, which has a capacity for 1000 people.
During this seminar, Grand Master Yap discussed what the change from Period 7 to Period 8 entailed with some predictions for Period 8. A subject matter that caught the attention of the audience was whether a house needed to be changed from Period 7 to Period 8 and what that would involve if such a need arose.
