The conference, “CIMB Malaysia Small Cap Conference 2007”, was attended by about 200 people, mostly from the investment industries as well as agents and partners of CIMB. It featured several prominent speakers from the finance and investment industries and Master Yap Boh Chu.
Master Yap’s Feng Shui-oriented talk focused on the year 2007 and what it entails. He gave suggestions on how to plan for the year and what pitfalls to avoid. This year would also be one filled with major changes and while it would be a good year overall, there would be obstacles and traps along the way. Therefore, investors should not be over-confident in their investment dealings. Master Yap also conveyed that 2007 would be a good year for markets that deal with property and natural resources.
